Metabolomics Circle

The "Metabolomics Circle" is a special session at this year's Scientific Congress of the Polish Chemical Society, organized under the patronage of the Polish Metabolomics Society.

Metabolomics is a field of science that relies heavily on analytical chemistry methods and the interpretation of complex mixtures of chemical compounds. Metabolomics research requires the development and optimization of techniques such as nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, various types of chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and methods for identifying and quantifying small molecules. Metabolomics also offers opportunities for discovering new compounds, studying chemical transformations occurring in biological systems, and developing tools for analyzing highly complex samples.

 We invite people interested in chemical aspects of metabolomics, such as sample preparation, identification and labeling of metabolites, development of measurement methods and tools used in metabolomics studies, as well as representatives of various fields of science and industry for which metabolomics is a research tool, to participate in the session.

The session will feature various forms of presenting research results, including poster sessions and both shorter and longer oral presentations. Depending on the number of applications, we are considering organizing the poster session in the form of short oral presentations.
